Dr. Munnoor is a Remote Sensing and GIS specialist with over 11 years of experience in coastal and forest ecosystem research, combining field science with advanced spatial modelling to study carbon stocks and land-cover change.

His work spans satellite-based land-use and land-cover monitoring, InVEST carbon modelling, biogeochemical field sampling, stakeholder engagement, and technical reporting, with a focus on developing MRV-ready ecosystem accounts aligned with IPCC, SEEA EA, and CICES frameworks.

He contributes to agroforestry carbon crediting, nature-based solutions, and voluntary carbon market projects, bringing expertise across the carbon project development pipeline.

A co-author of 23 peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Munnoor has also contributed to international carbon accounting collaborations, combining scientific research with practical project delivery.
